Rayon yarn is a kind of artificial yarn, which is very different from cotton yarn in characteristics. In terms of strength, rayon yarn is very strong. However, the strength of different rayon yarns is different, mainly because the strength of rayon yarn is affected by some factors. Let's talk about it briefly.
The main factors affecting the strength of rayon yarn are as follows
1. Fiber properties.
It includes the length and density of the fiber. Generally, the longer the fiber is, the finer the fiber is, the greater the friction resistance between them will be, there will be no slippage, and the natural strength will be higher. When the fiber length is more uniform, it is not easy to produce weak rings, which is conducive to improving its strength. Of course, when the fiber strength is high, the strength of rayon yarn will be great, and when the fiber is more uniform, the strength will be higher.
2. Twist.
With the increase of twist, the friction resistance between the fibers will also increase, which is not easy to slip. This is a good side for short fiber yarn. You should know that when the twist increases, with the inclination of the fiber, the strength will also decrease, and fracture is likely to occur.
3. Joint stock.
The single yarn can make the strands uniform, but the resultant force between the outer fibers is increased through contact, and its strength is much higher than the sum of the single yarn strength.
