The results are as follows: 1. The longitudinal surface of nylon is straight and smooth, and the cross section is round. The nylon is alkali resistant and acid resistant. In inorganic acid, the amide bond on the macromolecule of nylon will break;
2. Strength, elongation and wear resistance. Nylon has high strength, large elongation and excellent elasticity. Its breaking strength is about 42-56 CN / tex, and its elongation at break is 25% - 65%. Therefore, nylon has excellent wear resistance, ranking first among common textile fibers. It is an ideal material for making wear-resistant products. However, nylon has small initial modulus, easy deformation and its fabric is not neat;
3. The hygroscopicity and dyeability of polyamide fiber are better than those of common synthetic fibers, and the moisture regain is about 4% and 5% under general atmospheric conditions; In addition, the dyeability of nylon is also good, and it can be dyed with acid dyes, disperse dyes and other dyes;
4. Light resistance and heat resistance. Because the end groups of polyamide macromolecules are sensitive to light and heat, resulting in yellowing and brittleness of polyamide, the light resistance and heat resistance of polyamide are poor, so it is not suitable to make outdoor fabrics. In addition, polyamide is resistant to corrosion, mildew and insects.
